2015 “REALTOR® of the Year” and “Rising Star” awards
The Mitchell Board of REALTORS® awarded the 2015 REALTOR® of the Year award to Chuck Mauszycki of Mitchell Realty LLC. South Dakota Association of Realtors criteria for Realtor of the Year award is based on Realtor Spirit, Business Accomplishment, Local Association/Board Activity, State Association Activity and National Association Activity. Chuck will go on to compete for the State Realtor of the Year award in Watertown, at the SDAR state convention. Since 1956, the National Association of REALTORS® has been honoring the state REALTORS® of the Year at the annual REALTORS® Conference & Expo each year. The Mitchell Board of REALTORS® awarded the “Rising Star” award to Krissy Weber of Crane Realty.

Mitchell Board of REALTORS® donates to Delmont tornado relief
Tragedy again struck another local South Dakota town this spring with devastating tornado damage in Delmont, SD. The small, but promising community is located well within the geographic service area of the Mitchell Board of REALTORS®. So again, with heavy hearts the Mitchell Board of REALTORS® continued with the groups charity by contributing $1,000 towards the Delmont Tornado Relief Fund to assist with the clean-up efforts to rebuild the town of Delmont.

Mitchell Board of REALTORS® meets new NAR Core standards
In May 2014 the National Association of REALTORS® adopted a new organizational alignment program highlighted by a new set of operational and organizational standards intended to raise the bar for REALTOR® associations and ensure high-quality service for REALTORS® at the national, state and local levels.
The Mitchell Board of REALTORS® association certified and met the new NAR required compliance on June 30, 2015.
The requirements that fall into six categories:
- Code of Ethics
- Advocacy
- Consumer Outreach
- Unification Efforts and Support of the REALTOR® Organization
- Technology
- Financial Solvency

Mitchell Board of REALTORS® Rings-the-Bell for local fundraiser
Mitchell Board of REALTORS® participation in 2014’s Salvation Army Bell Ringing where they raised not just the amount they took in that day of $512.10, but also an engagement ring that someone slipped into our kettle without anyone’s knowledge! Woelfel Jewelry valued the ring at $1200 and at an auction the amount received for the ring was $800…then making the total amount raised an incredible $1312.10!

With heavy hearts the Mitchell Board of REALTORS® continued with the groups charity by contributing $1,000 towards the Wessington Springs Tornado Relief Fund.
